Ben Davies is a Bangkok-based journalist, photographer and author who has spent more than 25 years focusing on politics, business, travel and critical environmental issues around Asia. He is the acclaimed author of ‘Black Market: Inside the Endangered Species Trade in Asia,’ which documents the multi billion dollar global wildlife trade and was voted one of the most important books on the environment by CNN. He has also written and photographed half-a-dozen books on vanishing cultures in Asia including ‘Laos: A Journey Beyond the Mekong’, ‘Living with Spirits: A Journey into the Heart of Thailand’ and 'Vanishing Bangkok: The Changing Face of the City.'
