Ben Davies is a Bangkok-based journalist, photographer and author who has reported from more than 50 countries covering politics, business, wildlife trafficking and environmental crises. He is the acclaimed author of ‘Black Market: Inside the Endangered Species Trade in Asia,’ which documents the multi billion dollar global wildlife trade and was voted one of the most important books on the environment by CNN. He has also written and photographed half-a-dozen books on vanishing cultures in Asia including ‘Laos: A Journey Beyond the Mekong’, ‘Living with Spirits: A Journey into the Heart of Thailand’ and Vanishing Bangkok: The Changing Face of the City.
